KIWANIS SPONSORS 'STARS OF TOMORROW'

STEAMBOAT SPRINGSFor the 35th year, the Steamboat Springs Kiwanis Club is holding the annual "Stars of Tomorrow" talent contest Feb. 26.

All Routt County students enrolled in public or private schools are eligible to compete in the contest, which has a senior, junior and elementary division.

The top three placers in each category will receive medals and the winner of the senior division is eligible to compete in a district "Stars of Tomorrow" competition held in April or May. Past Steamboat district winners have earned college scholarships through the contest.

Applications must be turned in to Bob Hall by Feb. 18 and can be obtained from the school's music and dance teachers or through Hall.

The local show will begin at 7 p.m. on Feb. 26 at the Steamboat Springs High School auditorium. The cost is $2 for students and $5 for adults.
