Condolences

Sarah Delma Edgar Barnett passed away on Nov. 23 in Castle Rock. She and her family were former residents of Phippsburg. Her husband, Bob Edgar, worked for the railroad. Services were held on Nov. 27 at the Fairmount Little Ivy Chapel. Our sincere sympathy to the family.

Happy holidays

As the holidays draw near I wish all my readers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and say a big thank you to all who have been so kind as to share their news with me. It has been much appreciated.

Libraries now open

All our local libraries in South Routt are here for your use so check them out. If they don't have the book you want they can get it for you.

Senior lunches

Seniors come join your friends and neighbors for lunch each Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the site in Oak Creek. Call Pat Crawford for lunch and Elaine Cena to ride the van.

Save those labels

Please save your Betty Crocker, General Mills and Campbell's soup labels for our local schools. Take them by or send them to school.

On the road

Clarice Reid is at home after time in Denver.

Mr and Mrs. Luke Wilson went shopping in Steamboat on Thursday.

Mark Williams and Lila Rider were in Steamboat on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

The Don Ritkouskis are home following a trip to Denver.

The Doug Campbells are home following time in Denver.

Pay your dues

Now is the time to pay your dues to the Phippsburg and Oak Creek Historical Society. Pay Joan Lombardi or Carol Villa.

Dues will be due for the Phippsburg Community Club on the first of the year $3 per family and $2.50 per single person. Please pay at the Post Office.
