TOWN TALK: HAYDEN

Mr. and Mrs. Casey Rolando and daughters were in Denver the fore part of the week where Kelsey received medical attention.

Cyd Bell took her daughter Ashley to Rangely on Wednesday to get her settled for college courses this coming semester.

Neil and Ann Forsyth recently made a trip to Texas with their daughter April and husband Loren Scheffel to welcome and become acquainted with their newly adopted baby girl, Lillian. Ann accompanied them back to their home in Nickerson, Kan., to help get the baby settled into her new home while Neil returned to Hayden.

Mr. and Mrs. Craig Hagar and three children spent last week in California, where they visited his parents and attended his class reunion.

The community offers its condolences to the Chuck Kistler family in the loss of their daughter Teresa in a tragic automobile accident.

The Joe Boyds were privileged last week to have granddaughter Brianna and her friend spend several days with them.

Ryan Bell celebrated his 16th birthday Aug. 16. His parents honored him with a party on Sunday evening for family and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Dan Faucett, their daughter Grace and her friend Brittany Doolin recently returned home from an extended trip to Italy and Switzerland. This vacation was in essence to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. They especially enjoyed visiting family members of Kathy's in the country of Switzerland. While in Italy, Dan's sister and her husband joined them as they have also been married for 25 years.

The Hayden Public Library hosted the end of the year summer reading party Aug. 20. The theme for this year was Reading, Rhythm and Rhyme. Katy Louthan was the highlight of the party, playing her guitar and singing. Many of her selections were written by herself. The children enjoyed accompanying using the shakers made by the library staff. They did the hokey pokey and all made themselves ice cream sundaes for a refreshment.
