Brad and Cheryl Kindred announce the marriage of their son, Mr. Graham Kindred, to Miss Laurie Brown, daughter of Tim and Kathryn Brown of Bayou Corne, La. The wedding will take place on Monday, Aug. 26, 2002, at the Botanical Gardens of Steamboat Springs. A reception will follow at the Kindred residence.
The bride, whose mother is the former Miss Kathryn Macaluso, graduated from Ascension Catholic High School in Donaldsonville and received a bachelor of fine arts degree from Stephens College in Columbia, Mo. She is currently a project manager for Town Square Productions, a production company in Times Square.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Macaluso and the late Mr. and Mrs. Randall Brown.
The bridegroom, whose mother is the former Miss Kathleen Rokich, graduated from Steamboat Springs High School and received a bachelor of fine arts degree from Stephens College in Columbia, Mo., and a master of fine arts degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pa. He is currently employed as a professional lighting designer in New York City.
He is the grandson of Mrs. Joann Rokich, the late Mr. Michael Rokich, the late Mr. Ernest Kindred and Mrs. Rose Dean, and he is the proud stepson of Cheryl Kindred. His stepgrandparents are Mr. George and Barbra Nail of Stewart, Miss.
Following a honeymoon in Rome, the couple will reside in Manhattan.
