6:16 a.m. A welfare check was requested in the 1900 block of Ski Time Square.
8:55 a.m. An animal complaint was reported in West Acres.
9:23 a.m. A hot-air balloon landed in Cedar Court.
9:46 a.m. A CD player and some other items were reported stolen at the Steamboat Springs Transit Center.
10:02 a.m. A hit and run was reported in the 3200 block of Village Drive. No one was injured.
10:43 a.m. Residents along Wyatt Drive requested that a vehicle parked in the right of way be moved. Construction workers were using the vehicle to deposit debris and trash.
11:58 a.m. A two-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and 10th Street. No one was injured.
12:33 p.m. An officer talked to juveniles playing with skateboards and a vehicle by Fifth and Lincoln.
1:47 p.m. A drunken driver was reported headed east around Steamboat II on U.S. 40. Police could not locate the driver.
1:58 p.m. A vehicle at Dream Island was vandalized with yellow paint. Police took a report.
3:07 p.m. A reckless driver was reported headed eastbound on Lincoln Avenue.
4:51 p.m. A two-vehicle accident was reported near the 7-Eleven. No one was injured.
8:14 p.m. Children were throwing baseballs around in the parking lot by Klumker Field when a ball hit a car. An officer talked to the children.
10:32 p.m. Loud music was reported at Copper Mountain Estates. An officer issued a warning.
