Oak Creek to hold Clean-Up Day

The town of Oak Creek will hold its annual Town Clean-Up Day Saturday, June 8.
Only residents of Oak Creek are allowed to drop off their trash in one of the dumpsters that will be located in the high school football field parking lot.
Waste Management will donate two 30-yard dumpsters to cleanup efforts, but the town must pay $350 for each additional bin.
The cleanup runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
People are encouraged to come early to avoid waiting in line to drop off trash.
Materials such as hazardous waste, paints and thinners, tires, batteries, used oil, refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, fluorescent light bulbs, liquid waste, pesticides and herbicides will not be accepted on Town Clean-Up Day.
Waste Management also does not take "e-scrap," which includes electronics like TV screens and computer monitors.
Two separate 40-yard bins will be available for steel and scrap metal deposits.
