— Legal trouble for a 23-year-old Oak Creek man keeps piling up.

Maurice Adama Choquette on Wednesday was arrested on a felony charge for the third time in four months.

Choquette was arrested at about 10 p.m. at his apartment in the 100 block of Main Street for allegedly contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a class four felony.

According to court records, a 16-year-old boy was allegedly found in Choquette's apartment drinking beer.

An Oak Creek police officer went to the apartment after a noise complaint was reported, records show.

Choquette appeared in Routt County Court Thursday. Judge James Garrecht set the man's bond at $5,000. Choquette will appear in 14th Judicial District Court today for three prior cases.

Choquette is expected to enter pleas to charges stemming from arrests in June and August.

Judge Joel Thompson will also decide today whether to revoke Choquette's probation stemming from a 1999 case.

In June, Choquette was arrested for felony theft. Choquette allegedly stole close to $1,300 from his former employer, Sears.

Choquette allegedly pocketed money from customers who made purchases with cash between March 26 and April 4, records show. Choquette later posted a $5,000 bond.

On Aug. 1, Choquette was arrested again when he allegedly attempted to steal a $600 stereo from a vehicle parked at The Industrial Company.

Choquette faces felony charges of theft and criminal trespass.

In that case, his bond was set at $2,000, which he posted.

At the time of these arrests Choquette has been on probation for theft.

He pleaded guilty to felony theft last year for making $900 worth of telephone calls to a 1-900 number using his employer's telephone. At the time, Choquette was working for a local garage. Last October, Thompson sentenced Choquette to 90 days in jail and placed him on four years of supervised probation.
