STUDENTS RECEIVE SCHOLAR HONORS
STEAMBOAT SPRINGSThree 2001 Steamboat Springs graduates and one Lowell Whiteman graduate have been named AP Scholars by the College Board in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the college-level AP exams.
Steamboat's Ben Beall, John Hottenroth and Bryn Weaver and Lowell Whiteman's Walker Pruett received the honor.
Only about 13 percent of the more than 840,000 students in 13,680 schools who took Advanced Placement Exams in May 2001 performed at a sufficiently high level to merit such recognition.
