Deadline for photo contest nearing

LAKEWOOD The deadline for the "Colorado...it's AgriCultural" photography contest is approaching.

Entries must be submitted to the Colorado Department of Agriculture with an official entry form by December 31, 2001. Judging will be based on theme, creativity and technical quality, and the grand-prize winner will receive a Kodak Advantix camera.

"Colorado's beautiful landscapes are ideal for any photographer, whether amateur or veteran," said Wendy White, marketing specialist for the Colorado Department of Agriculture. "Our past entries have proven that Colorado photographers can capture the spirit of rural life and its people."

The contest is sponsored by the Colorado Department of Agriculture, the AgInsights Committee, Colorado Farmer-Stockman magazine and Kodak.
