STUDENTS THANKED FOR THOUGHTFULNESS
STEAMBOAT SPRINGSThe students from Lowell Whiteman Primary School received a thank-you letter from Principal Carroll Bennett of Saint Vincent Martyr School in New Jersey for sending letters to her students.
The Lowell Whiteman students sent cards and messages to the school after the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.
Three of the families at the school lost fathers in the attacks.
"No kindness touched me quite like your wonderfully thoughtful cards and messages. I cried as I read each one. Thank you so very much for thinking of us from Colorado," Bennett wrote.
