SCHOOL PLANS DINNER FUND-RAISER

OAK CREEKThe Soroco High School sophomore class is inviting the south Routt community to eat some dinner to raise money for food and fun events.

The class is selling tickets to a spaghetti dinner to raise funds to buy concessions for sporting events, pay for the prom and finance graduation, sophomore Meg Hayne said in a news release.

The dinner is from 5 to 7:30 p.m. April 6 at the high school.

People can purchase tickets from any sophomore, at the school or at the door. Tickets for adults are $5, children 12 and under eat for $4 and children under 4 can have dinner for free.

'TASTE OF SOUTH ROUTT' FESTIVAL SET

OAK CREEKThe date for the Taste of South Routt festival in Oak Creek has been set and tentative plans are being made for an extra feature at this summers event.

Event organizer David Bonfiglio said the festival will be June 30.

A car club from Denver is scheduled to drive 10 to 12 cars to Oak Creek and park them in the town park as an added attraction.
