Scholarship aids business pursuits
Students enrolled or planning to enroll at the Alpine Campus of Colorado Mountain College to pursue a career in international business or international affairs, are invited to apply for the Everett Bristol Family International Endowed Scholarship.
Everett Bristol was a founder of Yampa Valley College, which later became the Alpine Campus of CMC. A successful local businessman, he had a great interest in international affairs.
Applications are due by March 31 at the Alpine Campus financial aid office. Call 879-4444.
Labor elected VP of buyer agents
During its annual meeting in Boulder, the Colorado Exclusive Buyer Agents Association elected local real estate broker Douglas N. Labor, GRI, RRP, as vice president.
Labor, owner of Buyer's Resource Real Estate of Steamboat, is a founding member of the Colorado Exclusive Buyer Agents Association, and has been a licensed Colorado real estate broker since 1984.
Staff rewarded for meeting goals
The entire staff of Wall Designers in Steamboat Springs is on a trip to Portugal. As a result, the office will be closed until April 2.
The trip to Lisbon is courtesy of Hunter Douglas, a Wall Designers supplier, and is a reward for meeting sales goals in a variety of products, according to owners Julie and Kris Hagenbuch.
Loan officer learns new lending skills
Wells Fargo Home Mortgage sales consultant Lynn Reiff has just returned from Palm Springs, Calif., where she attended her ninth annual sales conference. During the conference she learned of new ways to help homebuyers obtain the best kind of loan for their needs.
