ZACHARY STEFAN YURICH

Zachary Yurich died Feb. 24, 2001, in Denver. He was 11.
Zachary was born April 12, 1989, in Denver. He enjoyed roller-hockey, baseball, basketball, bicycling and sports of all kinds.
On July 15, 1998, he threw out the first ball at a Colorado Rockies game. He was a collector of many things including key chains, Pokemon cards and baseball cards. A sixth-grade student at St. Pius X Catholic School, Zachary was well known for saving money.
Zachary was a member of Boy Scouts of America, St. Pius X Catholic Church Junior High Youth Club, and he was an altar boy at St. Pius X Catholic Church.
He is survived by his parents, a brother, and two sisters, all of Aurora; a grandfather of Armenia; a grandmother of Denver; a niece of Aurora; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Rosary was held at 7 p.m. Feb. 28, 2001, at Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, 3201 S. Parker Road. A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. March 1 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 13670 E. 13th Place, Aurora.
