Woman allegedly buys teens liquor

Oak Creek resident jailed


— A 25-year-old Oak Creek woman faces a felony charge for allegedly buying liquor for minors.

Mishelle Lynn Wixom was arrested Tuesday by the Oak Creek Police Department after Wixom allegedly bought rum and schnapps for teen-agers June 20 and June 23.

Wixom faces a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a class four felony. She has been booked in the Routt County Jail and is being held on a $2,000 bond.

According to court records, police questioned a 17-year-old Oak Creek boy Sunday morning about a party the previous night.

The boy told police he had drank liquor Wixom allegedly purchased for a 16-year-old girl, records show.

Police talked to the girl and took into evidence two empty liquor bottles that Wixom allegedly purchased, records show.

Wixom also allegedly purchased a bottle of liquor for the girl June 20, records show.

Police also talked to the property manager that manages the residence Wixom rents in the 200 block of Sharp Avenue.

The property manager told police several juveniles allegedly hang around and party at Wixom's residence, records show.
