Hole in one
Larry Fields became the latest golfer to score an ace at the Haymaker Golf Course in Steamboat Springs.
Fields' hole-in-one came on the 152-yard No. 12 hole. Fields used a six iron and was playing the gold tees on the par-3 hole when he scored the ace.
Basketball tourney
The deadline to take part in the Mid-American Youth basketball tournament in Grand Junction will be June 29.
The tournament is open to both boys and girls and the tournament will run July 20-22. There is a five game guarantee.

Bike festival
The third annual Steamboat Bike Festival will take place June 23-24 in Steamboat Springs.
The festival will offer events for BMX, mountain, road and tandem bikes. Events start at 9 a.m. Saturday and will start at 7:45 a.m. on Sunday.
