Sailors girls, boys top Delta

The Sailors girls basketball team improved its record to 8-4 on the season by defeating the Delta Panthers by a score of 67-25 Friday at Delta.
Katie Carter led Steamboat with 18 points and Natalie Muth added 14 points. Brienna Combs, the team's leading scorer, was sidelined with a shoulder injury.
The Sailors led at the end of all four quarters and had a 34-8 halftime advantage.
It was the Sailors fourth league victory of the season in six games.
Emily Hines chipped in 13 points for the Sailors.
Steamboat 52, Delta 32
The Steamboat sailors boys basketball team defeated Delta on the road Friday night, 52-32.
The team is now 13-0 for the season and 6-0 in league play.
The junior varsity also edged Delta, 42-41.
