— A 30-year-old Craig man facing felony charges for allegedly burglarizing and stealing from his former employer waived a preliminary hearing Wednesday in Routt County Court.

Brian Nuebel is set to enter a plea to three counts of burglary and two counts of theft in May.

Nuebel faces two counts of burglary for allegedly entering Big Country Resorts twice in a span of about week at the end of January. The second time he entered the management company, $85 and some toys were stolen from the building, police said.

Nuebel faces a third charge of burglary for illegally living in an apartment the management company operates. He was arrested Feb. 23.

Nuebel, who last worked for Big Country Resorts in May 1999, has maintained his innocence. He is being held in the Routt County Jail on $20,000 bail.
