Catherine Marie Campbell died March 25, 2001, at her home in Arvada. She was 36.
Catherine was born in Hugo Aug. 5, 1964. At a very young age, she moved with her family to Steamboat Springs.
She attended grade school in Steamboat Springs and graduated from Craig High School in Craig.
She later attended Metro Business School in Denver.
She was a confirmed member of the Lutheran Church. Cathy was talented at artwork, drawing and painting.
She is survived by her parents, Gordan A. Campbell of Steamboat Springs and Mary Ann Campbell of Littleton; her husband and infant son, Michael and Ryan Lanning of Arvada; two sisters, Christine H. Campbell of Wheat Ridge and Crystal L. Campbell of Grand Prairie, Texas; two brothers, Ricky James Campbell of San Antonio, Texas, and Ronald C. Campbell of Windsor; and a mother-in-law, Alice Lanning of Denver.
Her final resting place is at River Bend Cemetery in River Bend at the family plot a short distance from where her grandparents homesteaded in 1907.
A memorial service was at 3 p.m. March 28, 2001, at Olinger Wadsworth Chapel.
She leaves behind a large host of friends, which she made in school and during her life.
