Steamboat Springs A 40-year-old Fort Collins man faces a felony charge after allegedly threatening to get a gun after a fight that occurred inside a downtown restaurant.
Paul Gregory Cardona faces a charge of menacing, a class five felony, after he allegedly said, "Lets go get our gun," to a friend minutes after a fight was broken up at El Rancho Nuevo, said Assistant Police Chief Art Fiebing.
Police went to the restaurant on Fourth Street and Lincoln Avenue at about 8 p.m. last Thursday when a fight was reported. During the fight, a 33-year-old man was hit in the face with a beer bottle.
Cardona was allegedly involved in the melee and was overheard making the alleged threat by witnesses at the restaurant, Fiebing said.
