Helner Kimball 1908-2000

Helner L. Kimball died Oct. 26, 2000, at The Cedars Health Care Center in McPherson, Kan. She was 92.

Helner was born April 4, 1908, in rural Partridge, Kan., to William O. and Susan (Powell) McCalla. She married Albert A. Kimball Aug. 5, 1929 in Sterling, Kan.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Free Methodist Church. She and her husband were former residents of Steamboat Springs.

She is survived by two daughters, Leona Adamson of Tyler, Texas and Linda Kenney of McPherson, Kan.; two brothers, Floyd McCalla of Hutchinson, Kan., and Gerald McCalla of Lyons, Kan.; three sisters, Dorothy Pace of Nacogdoches, Tex., Susan Darline Risley of Hutchinson, Kan. and Florence Cooper of Abbyville, Kan.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
