Diana Bentley 1942-2000

Diana J. Bentley of Walden died Oct. 15, 2000, at Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat Springs. She was 58.

Diana was born May 16, 1942, in Callaway, Neb. to Edna (Wertz) Ullrich and Marion Ullrich. She married Paul F. Bentley on June 12, 1965, at the United Methodist Church in Broken Bow, Neb.

She received her nursing degree from the Mary Lanining School of Nursing in Hastings, Neb., in 1964. She was a registered nurse and medical transcriptionist and was a member of nurses associations.

She was very active in the North Park Community Church directing Sunday school and the choir, and playing piano. She enjoyed dancing and was a former member of the Sweet Adelines.

Diana enjoyed dining out with her husband, going to the movies, music and remodeling work.

She is survived by her mother, Edna; her husband, Paul; two daughters, Brenda Skeel of Mount Pleasant, Mich. and Sonja Bentley of Sarasota Fla.; two brothers, John Ullrich of Davenport, Iowa and Fred Ullrich of Lincoln, Neb.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marion.

Memorial services were held Oct. 17 at the North Park Community Church in Walden with the Rev. Eloise Carmichael officiating.
