William W. Harvey 1915-2000

William "Bill" Wallace Harvey, died May 24, 2000, at the Extended Care Center in Steamboat Springs. He was 85.
Bill was born in Minneapolis on April 2, 1915. He graduated from the University of Minnesota, and later spent two years in post-graduate studies in Superior, Wis and coached gymnastics at the Superior YMCA.
He retired from Ryder Truck Rental after 37 years as a national safety supervisor. He lived in Denver and also had a home on Green Mountain Reservoir between Silverthorne and Kremmling.
After retirement, he and his wife, Inell, purchased a 32-foot sailboat and lived on it while sailingthe Great Lakes and inland waterways. Bill was an avidsnow skier and enjoyed the outdoors tremendously. He also liked to fish, hunt,snowmobile, water-ski, play tennis, camp and swim.
Bill is survived by his wife, Inell, of Kremmling; a daughter, Janifer, of Steamboat Springs; a son, Rick, of Aurora;four grandchildren, Jade, Katrina, Sierra andDavid;one great-granddaughter, Kirsten; three nephews and one niece.
Services were held at 4 p.m. May 30 in the Kremmling Community Church.
