H. Lloyd Lufkin died March 15 in Truth or Consequences, N.M. He was 80 years old.
Lloyd was born Nov. 8, 1920, in Steamboat Springs to Herbert and Eva Gertrude Lufkin.
He served his country in the Navy during World War II. Later, he worked in the real estate business.
He lived in Santa Fe, N.M., for the past several years.
He is survived by two sons, Paul of Aka, Okla., and John of Santa Fe, N.M.; a daughter, Grace Antares of Oregon; and a brother, Donald of Steamboat Springs.
