Area woman injured in head-on with semi

Oak Creek — A south Routt County resident received minor injuries from a head-on accident Wednesday morning near Oak Creek.
Judith Morgan, 58, was traveling south on County Road 25 when her 1993 Subaru began to skid. Colorado State Patrol trooper Brett Hilling said Morgan collided with a northbound tractor-trailer driven by Donald Hayes of Hayden.
Hilling said both people were wearing seat belts. He said Morgan was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center with bruises.
Morgan was issued a ticket for careless driving.
