South Routt The windows in the Phippsburg Community Center appear to be the target of someone's pellet-gun game.
For the second time in a month, someone has shot holes in the south windows of the building.
The windows were last shot around 5:30 p.m. on May 22. Routt County deputies were called to investigate.
There are still no suspects or leads in the case of vandalism, Undersheriff Dan Taylor said.
If no one is found, sooner or later the community club will have to come up with the money to replace the window, even though there are only three small holes in the thick glass.
"I don't even know where you get stained glass like that," Phippsburg Community Club member Elvis Iacovetto said.
Though the club isn't strapped for cash to do it, the windows are very old and could be a historical loss if they have to be completely replaced.
"They've been there as long as I can remember," said Iacovetto, who's a native of Phippsburg.
Anyone who has information about the window shooting can call the Routt County Crime Stoppers at 870-NABM.
