Stolen Harley still missing

— The Oak Creek Police Department is still following leads, but so far has turned up no signs of a stolen Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
The 1982 Harley Wide Glide was taken out of the yard of Vern Glawe in May.
Shortly after the bike was reported missing, Carol Shurden, Daniel Balazs and a juvenile were charged with aggravated motor vehicle theft in connection with the motorcycle, Oak Creek Police Chief Dan Kelliher said.
It's believed that the three took the bike to the Front Range and sold it, he said.
"We've checked several different locations on the Front Range where the motorcycle could have been taken," Kelliher said.
However, nothing has panned out.
Kelliher has been in contact with police officials on the Front Range, who have obtained search warrants to look for the bike at numerous private residents.
Kelliher wouldn't divulge what town he suspects the bike to be in until more leads have been checked out.
"We're still looking," he said.
Glawe had offered a $7,500 reward for the bike when it was first taken, but Kelliher wasn't sure if that still stands.
"There is a possibility that more (local) people will be charged for this crime," Kelliher said.
