Steamboat Springs A 55-year-old Steamboat Springs man faces two felonies and a misdemeanor after being arrested by a narcotics agent.
Gary Arthur Sampsel has been charged with intent to distribute marijuana, distribution of marijuana and possession of more than one ounce of marijuana but less than eight ounces.
Sampsel was arrested by Russell Bradford, an agent for the Grant, Routt, Moffat Narcotics Enforcement Team, Nov. 30.
According to a court document, Sampsel on Nov. 30 allegedly possessed and distributed marijuana.
The man was arrested at his Dream Island residence after Bradford obtained a warrant for his arrest earlier in the day. The contractor was arrested at about noon.
Sampsel has posted a $5,000 bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for 9 a.m. Jan. 16.
