Dorothy M. Stone died Nov. 26, 2000, at the Doak Walker Care Center. She was 93.
Dorothy was born April 4, 1907, in Stoutland, Mo., to Joseph H. and Lucy I. (Sellers) Jennings. She married Wilford T. Stone Jan. 5, 1929 in Lebanon, Mo.
During the 1940s and 1950s, she was the owner of Dorothy's Greenhouse in Steamboat Springs.
Dorothy was a member of the United Methodist Church and a former member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by three sons, Gary and Richard Stone of Hayden and Glenn Eugene "Gene" Stone of Dallas; seven grandchildren, Glenn Eugene Jr., Jim, Donald, David, Dorothy, Eric and Chelsea; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and five brothers, Cecil, Leroy, Tom, Garrett and Jim Jennings.
Graveside services were held Nov. 30 at the Littleton Cemetery in Littleton with the Rev. Phil Green of Littleton United Methodist Church officiating. Peterson Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
