Glenna D. Clark and Timothy F. Olmsted were married Aug. 30, 2000, at the home of Julie Green and Herb Roehrs in Steamboat Springs. The Tibetan Buddhist Lama, Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche of Katmandu, Nepal, officiated the ceremony. Glenna's son, C.T. Clark, gave the bride away.
Glenna is the daughter of Glenn and Julia Slocum of Edgemont, Ark., and the granddaughter of Grace Jeffers of Wynne, Ark. Timothy is the son of Dr. and Mrs. R.W. Olmsted of Portland, Ore., and the grandson of Mrs. M.M. Andrews of Pompano Beach, Fla.
A reception with champagne and hors d'oeuvres followed the garden wedding. Friends and family came from Oregon, Washington, New York, Virginia, Texas, California, Wyoming, Fort Collins, Berthoud, Boulder, Denver and Nepal to attend the wedding.
Glenna owns a real estate company in Steamboat. Tim is a psychotherapist who leads treks in Nepal and teaches Buddhism at the Bear River Center.
The couple are planning a honeymoon next spring and will live in Steamboat Springs.
