Anna Belle Walker died Oct. 27, 2000, in Craig. She was 66.
Anna Belle was born June 15, 1934, in Steamboat Springs to Harry C. and Hazel Irene (Potter) Walker. She graduated from high school in Steamboat and began training to become a nurse. She studied in Craig, Hayden, Denver and completed her training in Emporia, Kan. Anna Belle worked at National Jewish Hospital in Denver for many years and retired about 15 years ago. She lived in Craig with her sister following her retirement.
Anna Belle enjoyed knitting, bowling and was an avid reader. She read her Bible each day.
She is survived by her sister, Doris McFarland of Craig; two brothers, Allan L. Walker of Fergus Falls, Mont., and Clyde I. Walker of West Jordan, Utah; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Nov. 1 at Grant Mortuary in Craig. Internment was at Craig Cemetery.
