Jill D. Fraser and Neil R. Matthies were married July 8, 2000, at the Kennolyn Conference Center in Soquel, Calif., with the Rev. Dominique Brominsky of Boulder Creek, Calif., officiating.
Jill is the daughter of Claire and Robert Fraser of Steamboat Springs. She is a graduate of Santa Monica High School in Santa Monica, Calif., and has a bachelor's degree from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Wash. She is a seventh-grade life sciences teacher at Mission Hill Middle School in Santa Cruz, Calif.
Neil is the son of Susan Matthies of Santa Cruz, Calif. He is a graduate of Harbor High School in Santa Cruz and is a student at California State University, Monterey Bay. He is employed by Ward Williams Construction Co. and is a county lifeguard.
The couple reside in Aptos, Calif.
