1st Oak Creek Town Board meeting of 2012 is Thursday
January 11, 2012
The Oak Creek Town Board's first meeting of the year is rife with action items as the board will discuss issues ranging from utility rates for businesses and seniors to the future of two town employee positions.
The meeting is at 7 p.m. Thursday at Oak Creek Town Hall.
During the meeting, the board will address water and sewer rates for a resident who wants to reclassify her building, which used to be a laundromat, as a regular business, as well as clarify the water- and trash-rate discounts for seniors.
The board also will disclose and discuss the finalists for the position of town clerk.
Also on the agenda is a discussion of the job of Public Works supervisor, a position that Bob Redding resigned as of Dec. 30. Tom Holliday, who was hired in September, will be named interim Public Works supervisor.
