Aside from the combination of All Arts Fest, Steamboat Movement Fest, Steamboat Wine Fest and the Minis in the Mountains, there's even more to go explore in Steamboat Springs this weekend.

Friday, Aug. 11

Museum Storytelling

Noon to 1 p.m. | Tread of Pioneers Museum, 800 Oak St.

This weekly one-hour program features a lecture topic that reveals the unique history of the area. In partnership with the Steamboat Springs Arts Council's All Arts Festival, this week's program, “John Fawcett: An Artist’s Perception,” will be presented by renowned Western artist and Clark resident John Fawcett.

Saturday, Aug. 12

16th annual Steamboat Scowboys MC Scow Sailing Regatta

Saturday and Sunday | 8:30 a.m. | Steamboat Lake State Park, 61105 Routt County Road 129

The 16th annual Steamboat Scowboys MC Scow Sailing Regatta at Steamboat Lake, wind and weather permitting, will feature up to four races Saturday and up to two Sunday. Spectators are welcome. The best viewing on shore will be at park's day-use areas, accessed via Routt County Road 62. Call Harv Holtzman at 303-726-0640 for more information.

Main Street Steamboat Farmers Market

9 a.m. to 2 p.m. | Farmers Market, Seventh and Yampa streets

The Main Street Steamboat Farmers Market features fresh fruit and vegetables each week. The market focuses on food and offers a wide variety of local and cottage industry products and features Steamboat Springs musicians.

Parade of Homes

10 a.m. to 4 p.m. | Colorado Group Realty, 509 Lincoln Ave. 

This event provides an opportunity to visit illustrious properties located throughout Steamboat Springs. Tickets are $30 per person for the self-guided tour or $50 for the executive van-guided tour. Shuttle service requires reservations in advance and will depart the downtown office at 11 a.m. The Parade of Homes is a fundraiser for the Colorado Group Realty Charitable Foundation.

20th Anniversary Celebration at the Botanic Park

2 to 5 p.m. | Yampa River Botanic Park, 1000 Pamela Lane

The six-acre Yampa River Botanic Park, which features over 50 different gardens, is commemorating its 20th anniversary Saturday. In celebration of its beauty and serenity, the event will give giving attendees a glimpse into the park’s history.

S’mores and a Movie

7:30 to 9:30 p.m. | Stagecoach State Park, 2550 Routt County Road 14

Bring the whole family to the Marina Deck campfire for s’mores and a movie. The film is “Charlotte’s Web,” a Critics Choice winner for Best Family Film. This event is free, but all vehicles must have a valid park entry pass.

Jocelyn & Chris Arndt

10 p.m. | Schmiggity's, 821 Lincoln Ave.

Known for their powerful vocals and retro-rock guitar riffs, with lyrics that run the gamut between vulnerable to all-out venomous, siblings Jocelyn and Chris Arndt's music is a modern throwback to authentic album-rock.

Sunday, Aug. 13

Join the Broad Band Jam

4 to 6 p.m. | Butcherknife Brewing Company, 2875 Elk River Road

The Broad Band Jam features a group of six women who play acoustic instruments and harmonize.

Sunset Happy Hour

5 to 8 p.m. | Steamboat Ski Resort, 2305 Mount Werner Circle

The gondola transports you to 9,100 feet above sea level to celebrate the sunset from high above the Yampa Valley floor. This week's band is Better Half. Gondola boarding is from 5 to 8 p.m. The cost is $15 and includes a $5 credit toward food and drink. Free for passholders.
