— Routt County drivers still may have been adjusting to the first major snowfall of the year Monday as a few cars slid off roads across the area. But despite the multiple accidents, emergency responders reported no related injuries as of Monday evening.

Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of a one-car rollover at about 8:30 a.m. on Routt County Road 129. There were two children in the car that slid off the road, but no injuries reported, Lt. Travis Wilkinson said.

At about 11:30 a.m., Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue was paged out to another rollover crash, this one on the east side of Rabbit Ears Pass near the intersection with Colorado Highway 14. There were no injuries in that accident either, Wilkinson said.

In South Routt County, Oak Creek Fire Protection District emergency responders were called to a report of a one-car rollover near mile marker 50 on Colorado Highway 131, Chief Chuck Wisecup said.

West Routt Fire Protection District emergency responders reported they responded to three slide-offs in the morning. Chief Bryan Rickman reported the responders were called to one slide-off west of Hayden and another east of Hayden. Neither accident had any injuries reported.

The emergency responders also were called to a report of a coal truck jackknifed on C.R. 27.

A car and a school bus navigating around the wreck also hit each other, Rickman said. There were children on the bus but nobody was injured.
