Steamboat Springs — 8:33 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a complaint of dogs barking in a yard in the 300 block of Ninth Street. Police were unable to contact the owner.
8:49 a.m. Police were called to reports of a driver hitting a light pole in a median at Mount Werner Circle and Mount Werner Road. The person was cited for careless driving.
11:44 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to an accident at mile marker 145 on U.S. Highway 40, where a car hit a deer. Deputies killed the deer.
12:19 p.m. Deputies were called to reports of a missing person on Rabbit Ears Pass. A 77-year-old woman had left the trail, but she was found.
1:02 p.m. Police were called to reports of a found bicycle in the 700 block of Deerfoot Arts Park Drive.
1:03 p.m. Police were called to reports of a found camera in the 700 block of Yampa Street.

1:08 p.m. Deputies were called to reports of a yellow Labrador with no tags in the 2000 block of Walton Creek Road.
1:36 p.m. Police were called to a vehicle complaint because a person reported seeing children in a raft on a trailer on U.S. 40 near Hayden. Police found the van on Lincoln Avenue, and there were no children in the raft.
1:44 p.m. The Colorado Division of Wildlife was called to reports of a bear in the first block of Anglers Drive.

2:58 p.m. Police were called to reports of a dead dog in the Yampa River in the 400 block of South Lincoln Avenue.
3:01 p.m. Police were called to an animal complaint in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue, where a person said dogs were in a car with the windows cracked. The windows were down far enough that it wasn't hot in the vehicle.
4:35 p.m. Police were called to check on a man who was holding his back and barely able to walk in the 100 block of Ninth Street. He was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center and later to detox.
4:50 p.m. Police and Routt County Road and Bridge officials were called to the 500 block of Seventh Street to deal with a downed tree.
6:16 p.m. Hayden Police Department officers were called to a gas skip in the 200 block of Jefferson Avenue.
6:18 p.m. Steamboat police were called to Lithia Springs Road, where a freight line semitrailer had been parked for a few days. It was red-tagged.
7:42 p.m. Police were called to reports of juveniles throwing balls and hitting cars at Walton Ponds. No more information was available.
7:49 p.m. A deputy was requested in the 28000 block of Routt County Road 7 in Yampa, where cows were out of a pasture.
9:51 p.m. Police were called to reports of a bear in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. The bear ran away.
10:30 p.m. Deputies were called to reports of a bear in the 35000 block of Agate Creek Road. The bear was gone.
10:44 p.m. Hayden police were called to a hit-and-run crash in the 100 block of East Jefferson Avenue in Hayden.
11:53 p.m. Police were called to reports of a drunken pedestrian on Indian Trails. No more information was available.
