— Tickets are on sale for the Steamboat Wine Festival.

The festival runs from Aug. 6 to 10 and includes 25 events for wine and beer lovers.

In its 11th year, the festival brings in more than 100 artisans, wineries, breweries and distilleries.

Last year, the event brought in more than 3,500 participants, 3,050 bottles and 550 kinds of wine.

The week includes wine tastings, strolls, hikes, bike rides, seminars and pairings.

New this year are a pair of golf events and even a stand-up paddleboard event.

The popular Stroll of Steamboat through downtown Steamboat Springs and the Toast of Steamboat in Gondola Square return.

The downtown stroll takes place at 4 p.m. Aug. 8 and costs $90. The Toast of Steamboat takes place at 3 p.m. Aug. 9 and costs $95.

Tickets range from $65 to 150 for each event.

“The Steamboat Wine Festival features experiences for almost every sense — taste, smell, sight, touch — in settings that take advantage of everything that Steamboat has to offer,” Jason Ornstein said in a press release.

Ornstein is the owner of Team Player Productions, which organizes the event. In addition to the Steamboat event, the company puts on the popular Taste of Fort Collins, Park City Food & Wine Classic and the Oyster Urban Adventure Race.

Tickets for 24 of the 25 events still were available Wednesday, but most of the events sell out.

The popular Farm to Barn Wine Dinner is the only event sold out so far. Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Steamboat Adaptive Recreational Sports.
