Steamboat Clay Artisans seek nonprofit for benefit
Steamboat Clay Artisans are seeking a nonprofit organization to be the beneficiary of their 2010 fundraiser. Since 2002, members of SCA have created handmade, one-of-a-kind ceramic bowls that are given to ticket holders who fill the bowl with soup, breads and desserts donated by local restaurants and bakeries. Other locally made ceramic items are auctioned during the fundraiser, which is expected to net at least $5,000 for the beneficiary. In the past 10 years, SCA has donated more than $55,000 to local nonprofit organizations through this event. For information on recipient responsibilities and how to submit a letter of interest, visit http://www.steamboatclayartisans.com. The selection of this year's beneficiary will be made June 15. Questions can be directed to Jody at 970-736-2629 or 970-819-9453.
