Spring Bike Fest rolls closer in Steamboat Springs

Annual event to start riding season expands from Bike Swap

Chris Johns repairs a bike at Wheels Bike Shop in Steamboat Springs. Wheels and three other local bike shops hosted bike safety and skills booths at last year’s Bike Fest in Steamboat. This year’s event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

What: Routt County Riders’ Spring Bike Fest

When: May 7 and 8. “Follow Me” movie showing is at 8 p.m. May 7, and the bike swap and skills clinics will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 8.

Where: “Follow Me” will cost $10 and be shown at the Steamboat Springs Community Center. The May 8 activities will be at Olympian Hall at the base of Howelsen Hill.
