Magazine readers take note of town’s charm, price, even bears

— Steamboat came in at No. 9 overall on Skiing Magazine’s list of top 10 resorts for 2010. The magazine tallies reader votes across categories such as steeps, snow and terrain.

The Steamboat Ski Area was No. 1 for best trees and No. 2 for best snow, behind Alta/Snowbird in Utah. The resort also came in at No. 9 for best nightlife.
