Routt County artist puts a contemporary twist on nature paintings

The Artists’ Gallery will show a collection of traditional Balinese Art, from the village of Penestanan/Ubud, Bali. Proceeds benefit “Smiles for the Children,” a local nonprofit group that supports poor children in Asia.

Matt Barnes, a rangeland scientist, conservationist and ranch manager, explores the American West with his camera. His photography involves traveling on foot, horseback, pickup truck and kayak to share his perspective of the life at the confluence of earth and sky.
