Jerseys revealed for USA Pro Cycling Challenge

Steamboat Springs — The USA Pro Cycling Challenge unveiled five race jerseys for the inaugural professional cycling competition.
The race, which takes place Aug. 22 to 28 and will be in Steamboat Aug 26 and 27, will award jerseys to the top athletes in various standings.
Jerseys will be awarded to the leader, top sprinter, top climber, best young rider and the rider who races with the most tenacity and aggression.
The Pro Cycling Challenge also is sponsoring an auction of one of each of the jerseys. The jerseys are autographed by riders and will be available on http://www.charitybuzz.com through Aug. 2.
All proceeds benefit the Davis Phinney Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps people with Parkinson's disease.
Locally, businesses and individuals can purchase a Club Jersey support package.
The cost is $500 for a small business Club Jersey and $250 for the individual Fan Club Jersey.
Club jerseys get four Steamboat Springs finish hospitality passes, and fan jerseys get two passes. Both include complimentary catered food, wine and beer.
The seven-stage Pro Cycling Challenge is expected to bring in 16 international teams and 128 riders. Teams from RadioShack, HTC, Garmin and Liquigas are expected to compete.
