Summer Laws, executive director of Integrated Community, said the event will feature music and dance from City Market’s geographically diverse employees, who she said represent more than 30 countries. The party begins at 9 p.m. today and won’t end until 1 a.m. Sunday at Amante Coffee in Wildhorse Marketplace.

“We’re trying to celebrate international diversity in Steamboat Springs,” Laws said. “It’s basically like going out to hear a DJ that’s going to play music from all around the world.”

City Market employees have donated music from their native countries, which include Bulgaria, Macedonia, Colombia, Mexico, the United States and more.

Amante manager Matthew Farrington said he embraces the opportunity to support local groups. Amante’s full bar and coffee selection will be available during the dance.
