CMC SKY Club's "Crystal Observatory" — Colorado Mountain College, 7 to 10 p.m. Grand opening of the world’s first “Crystal Observatory,” made of icicles grown naturally. Telescopes will show visitors celestial wonders such as the cratered surface of our moon, the giant planet Jupiter and its moons and much more. Visitors can take a stroll through an icy, scaled version of our solar system, from Pluto to the sun; stand among the frozen monoliths of “Snowhenge”; and view the universe from a 30-foot diameter flying saucer made of snow. $10 per person; children younger than 6 and CMC students with valid ID are admitted FREE.
