Scholarship Day — Steamboat Ski Area, 8:30 a.m.
The Steamboat Ski Area opens to skiers and riders for the first day of the 2012-13 season. Lift tickets are $20, with proceeds benefiting the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club. Season passes are not accepted on Scholarship Day.
