Sonja Hinrichsen art talk: "Interventive Art Projects in the Environment"

Bud Werner Memorial Library presents a free art talk and slide show with visiting artist Sonja Hinrichsen. Her talk, "Interventive Art Projects in the Environment," will introduce a wide range of environmental art installations she has created all over the world, before she embarks on a series of landscape-scale community snow drawings in the hay meadows at The Nature Conservancy's Carpenter Ranch on Jan. 29 and Feb. 4. Hinrichsen is also part of the Steamboat Springs Art Council's group show, "Snow/Crystal: Intricacy, Impermanence, and Influence," which opens Friday at The Depot. FREE.
