Steamboat Mountain Film Festival: Local submissions — Colorado Mountain College auditorium, 6 p.m.
The annual film festival closes out with local film Sherpa Cinema's "Fall Line," Teton Gravity Research's "Further" as well as a seminar on avalanche safety. $10 at door, proceeds benefit Backcountry Club Awareness Project. www.steamboatfilmfestival.com
