"Hell and Back Again” screening — Library Hall at Bud Werner Memorial Library, 6:30 p.m.
The film is about a U.S. Marine Sergeant Nathan Harris, 25, who leads his unit to fight in Afghanistan. He is wounded in battle and returns to North Carolina to his wife to fight pain, addiction and normalcy of life at home. The film was nominated for Best Documentary Film in the 2012 Academy Awards.
