Community Cinema: "Deaf Jam"

Bud Werner Memorial Library continues the 2011-12 Community Cinema season with a free screening of "Deaf Jam." Aneta Brodski, a deaf teen living in New York City, discovers the power of American Sign Language poetry. As she prepares to be one of the first deaf poets to compete in a youth slam, her journey leads to an unexpected collaboration. The film starts at 6:30 p.m. in Library Hall.
