A breast cancer awareness luncheon is at 11:45 a.m. at Yampa Valley Medical Center. Speakers Malaika C. Thompson, M.D., YVMC mammography lead interpreting radiologist, and Julie A. Isaacs, RT, YVMC assistant director of diagnostic imaging, will discuss what breast cancer looks and feels like along with the importance of digital mammograms for early detection.
