Earth Hour 2011

Earth Hour 2011 is from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., when Yampa Valley Sustainability Council and the World Wildlife Fund ask people, businesses, governments and organizations to turn off their lights to make a statement about climate change. YVSC hosts a group demonstration from 8:15 to 9:45 p.m. on the Routt County Courthouse lawn with a candlelight vigil, a brief speech, a performance by local fire spinners, live acoustic music and a nondenominational prayer for the people of Japan.
